I did a doodle today...ahem, actually yesterday. It's just that a graphic I did yesterday has proved popular on Twitter, with a number of 'favouritisms' and retweets, so I thought I'd share with my doodle bloggers. The graphic was my #colour_collective illustration using this week's colour, teal. So here are my teal-infused exotic birds.

I did a doodle today with my paints and finished off my water lily canvases. Well, mixed results, but loved doing them. Need to keep working on my acrylic skills, but love the beautiful colours and effects of the brushes and palette knife.
The pictures show the original graphic I created and then the painted version. Definitely more comfortable with the graphics!
Picture three is my personal winner, even though it least reveals my original graphic! This is the one I am going to go BIG BIG BIG with. Time to by that giant canvas.

I did a doodle today as part of my Water Lily project. Canvases out, small ones to start with before getting really bold. Today, background work, literally. Here are the three not-quite-blank-canvases that are now drying ready for waterlilies and reeds.I just love working in the colours to create the initial feel and atmosphere of a picture, it's like reverting back to childhood finger-painting and I can be equally as messy. Happy days.

I did a doodle today because I ate pizza. Lots of yummy pizza. I love my food and eat almost anything (and have tried some strange things over the years and over the world), but pizza is definitely a simple firm favourite. Now if only I'd been sitting in a little restaurant, checked table cloth flapping in the breeze on the terrace, overlooking the blue Mediterranean waters along the Amalfi Coast....

I did a doodle today, the day after the night before at the Oscars. Not that I was there (one day, I can dream). With an array of well deserved awards, the ladies went to town and looked every inch the glitz and glamour models of fame and fortune and all things Hollywood. So many beautiful outfits, here are just four of my favourites, worn by Kate Hudson, Emma Stone, Felicity Jones and Julia Roberts.

I did a doodle today after going to the cinema to see Hero Big 6. A lot of laughter and a few worried questions from Little One (try discussing the theme of death and why people die when you are in a packed cinema!) and we left the cinema on a superhero-high. We then got chatting about super powers and the all important colour of our superhero outfits. So 20 minutes later it was finalised: Pink for my daughter (power to fly and shoot fire), purple for Mummy (power of super strength) and bright yellow for the dog (who apparently now possesses the super power of endless chocolates.... best power ever!).
